it was on a monday...26.05.08... went up bandar for sending up shan's hostel form n also go kaikai with mama... hehe lama nada go grocery shopping with mama... i was having stomach probs..but still semangat wana jalan arnd... n my sis also semangat join us... though she still had to work.. hehe
n ahhh... otw to ubd... my mom was driving... n we witnessed an accident... we were behind this lorry.... n it was like moving towards the left hand side... where the besi thingy was.. n i was already wonderin why it travelled that weirdly... then 'slowly' the lorry banged into the besi thingy n t.o.p.p.l.e over it... the lorry flew up n the sand inside the lorry all flew out like it was performing a water fountain performance... then the driver(wore white shirt) flew out of the lorry 'slow-motion' that i can only look with wide jaws open....n my mom panicked.... then the guy slowly dropped to the grnd... n LUCKILY the lorry didn fall onto the guy..... my mom was screamin OMG OMG....shud i brake shud i brake??? n i screamed in return...better not!!! dun brake suddenly!!! dont!! later u will skid all the way!! then my mom brake slowly.... but by tat time..we passed the lorry... the second car behind us sempat to brake n provide help to them... i wanted to call the police.... BUT i look arnd... shoot... what is the name of this place?? we in highway....but which part of highway??? @_@ then i saw the green sign...'lebuhraya muara-tutong' -_-"" errr dun think it can provide much info to the police eh... gaah~ n my mom was still in state of shock... haa~ its been awhile she hasnt drive up bandar...n this happened... =P still duno why o how the accident happened... either... he was drunk... or tire problem...=/
sigh... went to ubd to send the form n checked on resco shop n discard expired goods... hehe then went shopping.... then went for lunch...this time my sis drove us.. mama malas to drive owedi.. hehe well my second time my mom ate there... n i was reluctant to bring her there... cuz...brought her first time on sunday n she had the sunday specials n she loved it! but 2nd time... as usual she has high expectation... so surely she wud expect good food.... n yea shikai is known for its duck... n mom disliked it... as in...crossed out! blacklisted! cuz still got the duck 'smell'..so inda nyaman... i agree too
n aahh.... we had this weird conversation with the waitress.... she was wearin tudong k? then.... my sis saw one order got the word char siew...(bbq-ed pork) n my mom was like... okok... i want char siew! then the waitress said'the char siew is made of chicken ma'am' we all were like blur....'chicken???' n looked at each other.... *silence* the waitress then said'this is a halal restaurant'.... we three looked at her.... a waitress in tudong.... *silence* @_@ we were then.... 'OWH!' haaa~ kinda embarrasing... hehee.... in the end... we didn order char siew.... ah wells...
prawn.... salad prawn? i cudn remember... but quite costly.. normal price i guess arnd $12... not bad..... but normal laa...hehe
their homemade taufu $8... a lil too salty... perfect with rice... nyaman la... but still normal...
got a plate of sayur... first time... we didn abis the sayur... normally mama abis makan... but this... errr.... we were not impressed with the sayur....n as expected from my prediction.... mama didn like it.... the food i mean.... but she still longing for the sunday specials...which is good! but still.... im reluctant to bring her here anymore... later taste deteriorate liaw...how??? she wud complain more... XD haha u all must b wonderin why im like everything also got deal wit my mama... hmmm reason is tat i adore my mama... n i wud like to please her with introducing good food to her.....=D
ahh the tomyam seafood is yummy for me la.... its a lil sweet... but.. enough spicy flavour with lime....so am not complaining.... n yea in this pic... i looked really fat.... sigh wat to do... i had been well fed... XD haha gained the most during the exam time... gaaah.... i nid to return to my normal eating habit la....-_-
am always curious with the entrance to the other section of the restaurant..... hmmm see when.... we go there... hehee papa b4 said.... it looked like its for the gangster meeting place hehee but i kinda like it lookin from here la... rugged i guess..hehe wat to do... haf this fascination towards black triad stuffs XD
after makan... still go jalan jalan n buy groceries.... then balik la after tat....=) n otw back.. the lorry was still there upside down... but a trailer bside it..... hmmmm ok...is the guy ok?
